Reclaimed Brick Patio

It doesn’t get much more traditional than a brick patio. This particular herringbone pattern is often seen in historical restorations and even dates back to the Roman Empire. Using that motif and reclaimed bricks is a great way to not only get that traditional rustic look, but also recycle materials (and since these bricks were made over 100 years ago, Jonny's classically trained stonemason skills are put to work, making this patio look old, but function like it's brand new!).

The circle creates a centered spot for gathering, and the pattern is directionality is aligned with the back door of the house, promoting a natural flow that opens up the back corner of the yard.
