Grape Arbor

This previously underused area is going to be very special grape arbor—the owner has heirloom grapevines that he propagated from his Grandfather’s backyard vineyard! The steel fence (with custom routed posts to frame the steel) will be perfect for the vines to climb and grab the southern sunshine and the flagstone/decomposed granite combo will be very easy to maintain.

The individual flagstone pieces were set in wet concrete to give weight and stability, keeping the stone from becoming loose and washing away when it rains, and the flagstone provides a nice traditional hardscape between the flagstones.
